BRIEF:
A family home to be built to capture the sea breeze and enjoy the serenity of the location.
RESPONSE:
Numerous unique pieces were carefully sought after for this project, each with its own story to tell. The newel post for the grand staircase was sourced from a historic bank in Sydney, while a rustic chandelier, over 160 years old, found its way from France. The concept aimed to capture the essence of an Australian Pub with a delightful French twist.
The color palette predominantly embraced a crisp white backdrop, complemented by a striking burgundy feature entrance and soothing blues in the family rooms. Throughout the home, hardwood River Red flooring exudes warmth and elegance, while plush wool loop carpeting graces the bedrooms, adding a touch of luxury. To create a sense of drama and softness, the staircase boasts a burgundy runner, inviting guests to ascend with a sense of anticipation.
The kitchen, adorned with engineered stone benchtops and stylish cabinetry, offers a seamless connection to the poolside area and the sprawling paddocks beyond. The inclusion of two Jotul wood fireplaces serves as a captivating focal point during the cooler months, providing both warmth and charm.
This thoughtfully designed home features an abundance of spaces where family members can unwind, connect, and create lasting memories with cherished friends.
