Nestled on a hill, this exquisite abode is enveloped by breathtaking vistas of the countryside. The custom-designed residence seamlessly incorporates organic elements of timber and stone, embracing panoramic views through expansive windows. Even the local kangaroo residents appear to relish the scenery, basking in the sunlight on the lush slopes.
The objective was to infuse the home with allure and a welcoming ambiance. The clients sought a comprehensive transformation, encompassing new furnishings, rugs, lighting fixtures, decor pieces, and artwork. We artfully panelled around the fireplace, intensifying its focal point with a captivating contrasting hue that harmonised impeccably with the chosen furnishings.
Prioritising comfort and effortless living, we introduced luxurious leather accents and naturally dyed rugs, seamlessly blending with the existing stone and timber elements.
This endeavour naturally extended to a revamped kitchen space. The original kitchen, while overshadowed by the generous proportions of the surrounding area, was constrained in size and utility, leaving the clients feeling constrained and discontented. Storage options were rudimentary at best, while the dark brown timber veneer clashed with an assortment of stone and stainless steel countertops.
Ample natural light permeates the room, setting the stage for a monochrome palette centered around sleek black veneer cabinetry adorned with burnished brass embellishments exuding sophistication and elegance. The pièce de résistance is the striking Mont Blanc Quartzite countertops, splashback, and rangehood in a refined honed finish, adding an element of dramatic flair.
A tastefully designed whisky cabinet, featuring the same black veneer in an intricate diamond-patterned woven wood texture, is accentuated by burnished brass tones, enhancing the cabinet’s visual appeal. The addition of retractable doors further elevates the glass-shelved display.
Observing the gradual evolution of this dwelling has been an absolute pleasure, and the triumph lies in the seamless functionality of the newly transformed kitchen—a space that now graciously accommodates extended family gatherings and fosters joyful togetherness.
